After watching this series, I can’t help but to make my own predictions. Here are some of them:
I have a good vibes that Debra will be able to figure out Dexter’s secret. If ever she will figure out Dexter’s secret, I have a feeling that she might help Dexter cover his tricks.
I am hoping that Maria and Angel’s marriage will work out fine. It is the only relationship that seems to be stable in this Show. Hehehe
I am also loving the SHOW for putting put Julia Stiles as the sexy therapists of Dexter. I think Julia also has some skeleton on her closet and I am hopefully predicting that she will share some romantic relationship with Dexter this Season 5.
I also believe that Dexter did not kill Rita, although, Dexter admitted in the trailer that it was he, I do not believe his confession.

of course Dexter didnt kill Rita, he meant that its his fault that Rita died. Trinity killed her and Dexter could of stopped that a long time ago by killing him when he had the chance or just let Trinity go but he didnt.

Season five, obviously, from the trailer is going to be the very last. Everyone will find out that he’s a killer. That w****r Quinn is going to be even more of a so and so than he was in season four.
I doubt that Dexter would ever kill himself as he’d consider that a chickens way out, plus I’m sure Micheal C Hall wouldn’t want to lose the bet he made with Johnathan Ross, the final scene will be his execution.
Debra may commit suicide when she finds out. The closest person to her, the constant good throughout her life was a serial killer. Cody showed some small promise of having a dark passenger himself when he asked Debra in detail about Lundys’ death. I’m reminded of the books.
I really didn’t like the last five minutes of season four.
This won’t be the last season or the producers would’ve announced it. But you’re definetly on the right track. I believe next season (6th) will be the last. This season Deb and/or Quinn will be trying to figure it all out, and I believe they won’t know Dex is a killer until the last episode. The final season will be the Miami Police Dept. hunting him down. Possibly killing him at the end. What and ending to have Deb have to kill her own brother?
All I know is it better not be another Soprano’s!
Oh angel you might be right! I hope Jeremy does have some supernatural abtiliies but you have a point. When I first saw that part of the finale when jeremy said he felt “different” i said, “omg, he’s a witch!”. But then he was seeing his dead ex’s and I thought, “ok, he sees dead people” but just his ex’s? weird, it does make you think. can’t wait to find out, it’s killing me. I hope we see more of tyler and his story about being a werewolf, and i hope there are other werewolves coming, were they all killed off? hope not.
I know they signed a contract for five seasons after the release of season two, but I don’t know if there has been any advance on that. A full seasons without Rita will mean that Dexter will be trying to figure out how to still seamingly be a normal person without her. It’ll be really strange.
I think it’d be a nice ending if Dexter lost all control and ended up killing Debra himself, but not before killing a whole bunch of other innocent people. Then at the end of the season, Quinn shoots Dexter in the face… ut I doubt it.
After finishing season 4, I think the show has a good chance of ending after the 5th season. Personally I hope it does. Not because I want to see it end but becaause I dont want to see it “Jump the Shark”(Become a bad show)
As for Dexter, he now has everyone(press, police, and especially Quinn)up his a$$ so he wont have much time to fufill his need need to kill. His world is falling apart, he dosent have much allys and the only thing keeping him going is Deb.
Now when it comes to his secret being revealed, I do believe that the Deb would be the first to find out. However I think Dex will tell her because he will be cornered by Quinn(who will have almost found out the truth behind Dexter). Giving Dexter no other option, I believe he will let Deb turn him in and get all the credit for the arresting instead of letting the truth be revealed to someone like Quinn and having Deb suffer.
